We are Self-Lovin' Hearts.
Self-Lovin' Hearts is an official nonprofit organization with the state of California and strives to normalize the beauty of our flaws and encourage youth to accept every aspect of themselves. We accomplish this through the mobilization of leaders and volunteers in order to provide youth with the significance of self-love.
Our Story
2019
It started with one young person struggling with self-worth.
2020
A conversation changed everything.
2021
Self-Lovin' Hearts was born.
2022
Students began bringing the movement to their schools.
2023–2025
The movement expanded into communities beyond our hometown.
Today
A youth-led movement working to make self-love and mental health advocacy accessible to young people everywhere.
SLH's Symbols
Pink
The color pink represents many things, including passion, kindness, innocence, and most importantly, self-love. Pink is one of SLH's main symbols and is embedded throughout our theme and best represents our mission.
Yellow
The color yellow embodies a healing nature and also represents optimism, happiness, energy, and warmth. Yellow is one of the main colors that best portrays SLH's goals.
Lotus
The lotus flower has the ability to bloom pure despite its muddy environment, as they embody resilience and strength. We are all lotus flowers, we just have to find it inside of us.
