Optimistic Origamis
Thank you for your interest in participating in SLH's Optimistic Origamis Program!
If you are interested in making someone's day a little brighter, one fold at a time, this program is for you!
With the Optimistic Origamis Program, volunteers have the opportunity to fold an origami of their choice and to write an encouraging message in the origami while earning service hours. Please be sure to read the step-by-step guide on how to participate in this program in order to successfully make and send your origami.

How to Create an Optimistic Origami
Step 1
Register as an official volunteer with Self-Lovin' Hearts using the Google Form from the volunteer page of our website. Be sure to wait for an email confirming your registration! For further inquiries, please email selflovinhearts@gmail.com.
Step 2
Please read our origami guidelines and sample messages as it will assist you in writing your origami message!
If you have an SLH chapter at a middle/high school near you: please submit your letters to the chapter leader; chapter leaders will send out origamis to students on campus or the local community and will compile everyone's emails for us to provide service hours.

If you are participating virtually: please submit your origami for approval to selflovinhearts@gmail.com and we will email you a certificate with your service hours after you have chosen to either:

a) Showcase your origamis on the public gallery
OR
b) Send a picture of you sending your origamis to a local community/organization (libraries, schools, etc.)
